Ely skaters were competing back at Peterborough at the F.A.R.S. Open Challenge on Saturday 3 December; at the end of three consecutive weekends of skating competitions.

A triumphant Jessica-Ellen Ball took the gold medal for her Grease novelty whilst the Ely Club Show ‘Ely Goes Country’ took third place; taking the club’s medal haul over the last three weeks to an impressive 30 medals.

A spokesperson for the club said ‘It has been a tough three weeks and the skaters have worked incredibly hard with many of them giving outstanding performances.  We really are finishing the year on a high.’
