Ely skaters got off to a slow start when it came to picking up the medals at the annual F.A.R.S. Winter Solo Dance Competition held at Peterborough on the weekend of 19 - 20 November. Despite strong performances from all the skaters only Ellena Barnes-Weston, Hannah Barclay and Richard Culpan got through to the finals of the knock out solo dance heats on Saturday.  Disappointingly all three failed to medal.

However, the medals came in thick and fast on Sunday starting with Jessica-Ellen Ball’s bronze for her “Livin’ La Vida Loca” O.S.P. The Ely Dance Trios then monopolised the winner’s podium.
Emily Amas, Hannah Barclay and Emily Sellers won gold in non-medallist dance with Chantel Lyon, Bryony Figgins and Chloe Moore taking the silver.  Whilst in preliminary dance Megan Bidecant, Amber Miller and Lucy Page took the gold and Jessica-Ellen Ball, Ellena Barnes-Weston and
Cathy King took the silver.
